WEEK 64 hand fishing - SERVICE! - work is progressing!
Mauri ngkami!
What a crazy week! So many cool thinks happened!
1) Every night when we get home from a long bike riding day, the urge to "visit the beach" becomes my first priority. Immediately when I see the house the urge gets 10 times stronger. So I usually rush and set my bike down and run for the beach which is about 10 ft away then I squat down and enjoy the fresh air..
After the business is complete I usually look at the stars, then eventually go back to the house because the mosquitoes come.
But in this particular evening I shined my light in the deeper part of the water and I could see these small skinny blue fish. I jabbed my hand in the water and caught a couple. I brought them back to the house and then realized they were baby sword fish! So I go back to the beach to see if I could get more, but as I shined my light there was a huge eel. So I decided to return to the house.
2) My companion and I were biking one day and smelled something very stinky. We go to our lesson and ask about it. They told us a whale just washed up. So we went to go and see and it was huge and its flesh was rotten. I grabbed my machete from my bike and tried to cut its teeth out.. But we couldn't because it was high tide and the water was all bloody which attacks sharks.
3) A member came to our house and said he was really busy and needed some help killing and cutting up his pig. So we went and I told him I would help. He said sure! Then I grabbed the knife while they held the big pig down and began preparing it for dinner. I love service.
4) There was a member that passed us on the rode on his motor cycle. Me and my companion caught up and passed him. As we were going like 40 mph on our bikes my companion gets tired and puts his head down while biking. I was pretty far in front and I noticed that the person in front of me, his hat fell off. So I slowly braked and grabber it. As I was grabbing it off the ground my companion comes and smashed into my bike. Hahahaha. Luckily we were both fine. However, my back tire on my bike was destroyed.. Fortunately elders up north had a spare.
5) This Saturday we have a baptism with the north elders. Last week we rode all the way up north so that I could do the Baptism interview. But this Saturday we are doing the baptism by our house(south) then having a picnic. We hired a car, so north people could come since it is a long bike ride.
Anyways, way awesome week. Work is coming little by little. We just have so many investigators and a huge area to cover! I love it!

Have a good week!
